The short version
- We use information to run Ever Better, sync your progress, provide reminders and subscriptions, support the sharing you choose, operate referrals, and keep the service reliable.
- We do not receive your full payment-card details from Apple or Google.
- Ever Better does not use your action names or free-form content for advertising analytics, and we do not currently show third-party targeted ads.
- You control Support Group connections and action sharing. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion from the web.
- Action names and progress can reveal wellness information, so this policy also explains the additional protections and rights that may apply.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Ever Better is operated by Clear Blue Design LLC ("Ever Better," "we," "us," or "our"), 8000 Innovation Park Dr, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70820-7400. This policy covers the Ever Better mobile application, our website at everbetteractions.com, and related support, referral, and subscription services (together, the "Service").
This policy does not govern a third party's independent services. For example, Apple and Google apply their own terms and privacy policies when they provide sign-in, app-store, billing, or device services.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on the features you use.
Information you provide
- Account and profile information: your name, email address, account identifier, sign-in provider, and optional profile image. Authentication credentials and tokens are processed through Supabase and, when you choose them, Apple, Google, or Facebook sign-in.
- Actions and progress: action names, Mind/Body/Spirit categories, goals, quantities, units, frequency, schedule, reminder settings, completion logs, status, scores, streaks, and other metrics created from your activity.
- Support Group information: connection and invite information, the progress or actions you choose to share, and cheers you send or receive, including an emoji or short message.
- Subscription information: the product and plan selected, store and transaction identifiers, purchase receipts or tokens, entitlement status, trial or renewal status, and referral attribution. Apple or Google processes your billing credentials; we do not receive your full card number.
- Referral Program information: if you enroll, your name, email, optional phone number, mailing address, social-media handles you provide, payout method and handle, referral code, referral activity, subscriber and cancellation counts, earnings, and payout history.
- Communications: the name, email address, message, and related details you send through our feedback form or when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- App and website activity: screens and pages viewed, feature interactions, event timing, session and flow identifiers, referral or deep-link activity, and aggregate counts such as active actions or Support Group status.
- Device and technical information: app version, operating system, device and display characteristics, language, time zone, accessibility settings, connectivity, storage and memory context, power and thermal state, notification settings, browser information, IP address, and approximate location inferred from IP.
- Deep-link and attribution information: invite or referral code, link channel and campaign, link interaction, and, after sign-in, an Ever Better account identifier used to connect the referral or deep-link journey.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, performance traces, errors, and related technical context.
- Notification data: push-notification token, delivery and interaction information, and notification content needed to send a notification you have enabled.
Our analytics implementation uses a randomly generated installation identifier. After you sign in, it can also use your Ever Better account ID so activity can be understood across sessions. We configure analytics events not to send email addresses, phone numbers, raw action names, free-form messages, invite codes, or authentication secrets as analytics fields.
To keep the app responsive, certain actions, completion information, and daily scores are also cached in Ever Better's app storage on your device.
Device permissions
With your permission, Ever Better may use notifications to deliver reminders and Support Group activity, and photos or the camera when you choose a profile image or scan a connection code. A limited motion signal may be used on-device for an optional shake gesture. The released features described here do not request your address book or precise device location. You can change permissions in your device settings.
Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you, from your device and use of the Service, from people you connect with, from Apple, Google, or Facebook when you sign in, from Apple or Google when you purchase a subscription, and from service providers that help us operate the Service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and secure your account; authenticate you; and sync your information across devices;
- provide action tracking, progress calculations, reminders, subscriptions, Support Groups, sharing, referrals, and other features you request;
- validate purchases, manage entitlements, attribute referrals, calculate referral earnings, and make payouts;
- send service, security, purchase, reminder, Support Group, and support communications;
- answer feedback and support requests;
- measure feature performance, diagnose problems, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve usability and reliability;
- comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, Ever Better, and others; and
- create aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably linkable to you.
Legal bases for processing
Where a law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide the Service or perform a contract with you; for our legitimate interests in security, support, measurement, and improvement where those interests are not overridden by your rights; with consent where required, including for certain permissions or consumer health data; and to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose information only as described below.
- At your direction: people in your Support Group can see your profile identity and daily score after you connect. Specific action details are shared only when you choose to share them. A recipient may save or disclose information after receiving it, so share thoughtfully.
- Vendors working for us: providers process information to host data, authenticate accounts, deliver messages, measure performance, prevent abuse, and operate the Service. We require them to handle information for authorized purposes and protect it appropriately.
- Platform and transaction providers: Apple and Google receive information needed for sign-in, app distribution, subscriptions, and notifications. A payout provider receives the details needed to deliver a Referral Program payment.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; investigate fraud or misuse; enforce agreements; or protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Ever Better, or others.
- Business changes: information may transfer as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets. We will require the recipient to honor applicable privacy obligations.

These providers may also process information under their own policies when they interact with you independently.
Sale, advertising, and profiling
We do not receive money for personal information and do not currently use personal information to show third-party targeted ads in Ever Better. Firebase and Branch receive limited device and interaction data for analytics, deep linking, and referral attribution. Some state laws define certain analytics or attribution disclosures as a "sale" or "sharing" even when no money changes hands. If those definitions apply to our practices, you may use the opt-out request described below. We do not use action names or free-form Support Group content for targeted advertising.
5. Wellness-related information
Depending on what you choose to track, an action name, completion log, reminder, score, streak, or other progress information may reveal something about your physical or mental health. Some laws call this “consumer health data.” Ever Better is a general wellness and productivity service; it does not provide medical care and does not ask you to upload medical records.
We use this information to provide the tracking, scoring, reminder, synchronization, security, troubleshooting, and sharing features you request. Supabase processes it to provide our database and backend; Firebase processes limited action-and-progress events, identifiers, diagnostics, and notification information; and Apple or Google transports notifications you enable. A Support Group connection can see your profile identity and daily score, while specific action details are visible only when you choose to share them.
We do not sell wellness-related information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not authorize third parties to collect raw action names or completion logs across unrelated websites or services for their independent purposes. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to confirm whether we process this information, access it, learn who received it, withdraw consent, delete it, or appeal a denied request. You can delete individual actions, change sharing, disconnect from a Support Group, or email hello@everbetteractions.com with the subject “Wellness Data Request.” We will request consent before collecting a materially different category or using this information for a materially different purpose when required by law.
6. Website analytics, cookies, and tracking choices
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Google Analytics can use cookies and similar technology to process an online identifier, browser and device data, approximate location, pages viewed, and interaction timing. The feedback page also uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. Web fonts and certain site resources may be delivered by Google or content-delivery providers.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Core legal and informational pages will remain available, although some measurements or embedded resources may not work as intended. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out tool.
Because browsers have not adopted a uniform Do Not Track standard, our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals. Analytics providers may collect activity over time and across websites under their own policies. We do not currently engage in targeted advertising on the Service; if a legally recognized preference signal such as Global Privacy Control applies to a future sale or targeted-advertising practice, we will treat it as an opt-out request as required by law.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account information and user content while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or request deletion, we delete personal information from active systems as required by law. We may irreversibly de-identify information instead only where the law permits. The deletion process and limited exceptions are described below.
- Subscription, referral payment, tax, and accounting records may be kept for up to seven years.
- Security, fraud-prevention, and audit logs may be kept for up to twelve months unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate an incident.
- Support and feedback correspondence may be kept for up to twenty-four months after the request is closed.
- Deleted information may remain in protected backups until the normal deletion cycle completes. Consumer health data is removed from backups within the period required by applicable law, which may be up to six months.
We may retain information longer when required by law, needed to establish or defend legal claims, or necessary to protect the Service or users, except where a stricter consumer health data deletion rule applies. When possible, we limit retained information to what that purpose requires.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Controls available to everyone
- Edit profile, action, schedule, and reminder information in the app.
- Manage Support Group connections and whether a specific action is shared.
- Change notification, photo, camera, and other permissions in device settings.
- Manage or cancel a subscription through Apple or Google. Deleting your Ever Better account does not cancel a store subscription.
- Delete your account from the Profile screen or use the email-request process below.
Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access personal information; receive a portable copy; correct or delete information; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; restrict or object to processing; and appeal a denied request. You may also have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a privacy right.
Send a request to hello@everbetteractions.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may verify the agent's authority and your identity directly.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing the same address with the subject “Privacy Appeal” and explaining your concern. You may also contact the privacy or data-protection regulator where you live.
Account and data deletion
To permanently delete your account in the app, sign in, open Profile, select Delete Account, review the confirmation, and confirm. The request deletes your account and signs you out. Ever Better also clears locally cached actions and daily scores from that device.
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your account and say that you want the account deleted. Do not send your password, payment-card information, action names, or other sensitive details. You can start the request using this account-deletion email. If we cannot safely match the request, we will ask you to verify control of the account.
Deletion covers your authentication account, profile, stored profile image, actions, reminders, completion history, scores, Support Group connections and sharing selections, push tokens, active sessions, and other account-linked content, subject to the retention periods and legal exceptions described above. We also instruct service providers to delete covered information when required. Information another Support Group member already saved outside Ever Better cannot be retrieved through account deletion. If you requested deletion by email, uninstall the app or clear its storage on each device to remove local cached copies.
Deleting Ever Better does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel it separately through your Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
California notice
The categories described in Section 2 include identifiers and contact information; internet or electronic activity; commercial and subscription information; user content; device and diagnostic information; approximate location inferred from IP; and inferences such as progress metrics. Sources, purposes, retention criteria, and recipient categories are described throughout this policy. In the preceding twelve months, we have disclosed these categories for the operational purposes described here. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. We do not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information; Referral Program payments compensate promotional services and qualifying referrals under the Terms. Whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to Ever Better depends on its statutory thresholds; we provide these disclosures and accept the requests described above even when a particular requirement does not apply.
9. Other important details
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted network transmission and access controls. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we use recognized transfer safeguards and apply the protections described in this policy.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete it. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use of the Service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and, when a change is material, provide additional notice through the Service or by email when reasonably appropriate. We will obtain consent before collecting a new category of consumer health data or using it for a materially different purpose when the law requires it.
